Maid2Shine Cleaning (“Maid2Shine,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides residential, commercial, and post-construction cleaning services throughout our service area.
By requesting or booking a cleaning service, whether through our website, email, phone, or any other method, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following terms and conditions.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or rescheduling.
If our cleaning team arrives at your scheduled service time and cannot access the property, a full service fee of $180.00 will be charged.
Access issues include, but are not limited to, locked doors, incorrect entry codes, blocked driveways, pets preventing entry, or any condition that prevents our staff from safely performing the service.

Repeated short-notice cancellations or access denials may result in suspension of future bookings.

We aim to be flexible while respecting our team’s time and schedule. If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please notify us as early as possible.

Pricing & Payment

Service rates vary depending on the type of cleaning, size and condition of the property, and service frequency.
All pricing will be confirmed before your appointment.

  • Payments are due at the end of each service unless other arrangements are made in advance.
  • We accept e-transfer or cheque as payment methods.
  • Any additional time required beyond the initially booked duration will be discussed and approved before work continues.

Disputes regarding pricing or service quality must be submitted within 24 hours of service completion.

Special Conditions

For homes or facilities requiring additional attention due to significant buildup including but not limited to heavy grime, grease, smoke residue, nicotine, or biohazard material. Maid2Shine reserves the right to adjust the initial cleaning rate or decline service for safety reasons.
Please notify us in advance if such conditions exist so we can plan appropriately.

Access to Property

Clients are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the premises.
If entry is arranged via key, lockbox, or code, the Client agrees that Maid2Shine staff are authorized to enter solely for the purpose of performing the scheduled service.

Clients must ensure:

  • Safe walking surfaces and clear access to all areas to be cleaned.
  • Pets are secured for both their safety and that of our staff.
  • Alarms are disarmed or instructions provided.

Time lost due to restricted access or unsafe conditions may be billed as part of the total service time.

Satisfaction & Quality Assurance

We strive to deliver high-quality service every visit.
If you have any concerns, please report them within 24 hours so we can address the issue promptly.
While refunds are not guaranteed, a return visit may be scheduled at Maid2Shine’s discretion to correct legitimate concerns.

Cleaning outcomes depend on the condition of the property, available time, and the suitability of materials being cleaned.

Cleaning Products & Client Requests

Our teams provide all cleaning products and equipment required to perform our services.
We use products selected for their performance and safety.

Clients who request the use of alternative or client-supplied cleaning products acknowledge that Maid2Shine is not responsible for diminished results or damage resulting from those products.

Liability

Maid2Shine Cleaning Inc. carries liability insurance coverage for the protection of both clients and employees.
However, Maid2Shine is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage or normal wear to surfaces, finishes, or fixtures.
  • Items that are not securely fastened, unstable, or fragile.
  • Loss or damage caused by defective materials, poor installation, or improper maintenance.
  • Reactions or sensitivities to cleaning products unless explicitly disclosed and agreed upon before service.

Liability is limited to the reasonable cost of re-cleaning or repair of affected areas as determined by Maid2Shine.

Privacy

Any personal information collected through our website or communications is used solely for scheduling, service delivery, and administrative purposes.
We do not sell or share your information with third parties.

Agreement & Acceptance

By booking or submitting a request for service through our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to Maid2Shine Cleaning Inc.’s Booking, Service & Terms Policy.
